KUWAIT CITY, May 15: The Public Authority for Industry conducted a joint inspection campaign in the Scrapyard area south of Amghara on Friday morning, in coordination with the Ministry of Interior and supported by the Kuwait Fire Force as well as the Public Authority for Manpower, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen oversight over industrial coupons and curb violations.

Officials said the campaign focused on monitoring encroachments on state property and ensuring compliance with approved regulations and operational conditions governing industrial sites in the area.

During the inspection drive, authorities detected a number of violations and irregularities within the targeted locations. Legal measures were immediately taken against offenders, while several violating workers were apprehended and processed in line with established procedures by the Ministry of Interior.

The participating agencies carried out coordinated field checks aimed at identifying unauthorized activities and ensuring that industrial zones are used strictly for their designated purposes.

The Public Authority for Industry said the campaign forms part of a broader strategy to enhance regulatory compliance, protect state property, and eliminate misuse of industrial spaces.

Authorities confirmed that inspection and enforcement campaigns will continue in cooperation with relevant government bodies to ensure strict adherence to laws and regulations across all industrial and scrap areas in the country.
