Kuwait Court's Expat Clerk in ‘Bribery’ Case

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 4: The Criminal Court sentenced an expatriate court clerk and a law firm representative to four years in prison with hard labor, as they were found guilty of electronic forgery and acceptance of bribes. Investigations revealed that the two men colluded to tamper with the file of an ongoing case through fraudulent electronic procedures, intending to cause one of the parties to miss the deadline for filing an appeal in exchange for a bribe.
