Kuwait Court Upholds 7-Year Jail Term for Fashion Influencer Over Drugs, Prostitution

KUWAIT CITY, Sep 21: Kuwait’s Court of Appeal has upheld a seven-year prison sentence against a well-known fashion influencer convicted of marijuana use, prostitution and inciting others to debauchery and indecency for financial gain through Snapchat.

The case followed a sting operation by the Morals Enforcement Department of the Ministry of Interior, which investigated the influencer’s activities on the social media platform.

The Court of Appeal upheld the original sentence after reviewing the case and evidence presented before the court.
