Kuwait Court Sentences Bangladeshi Man to Death for Stabbing Friend over Wife’s Photos on Facebook

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 3 : The Criminal Court has sentenced a Bangladeshi man to death for murdering his friend in a knife attack allegedly motivated by revenge after the victim posted private photographs of the accused’s wife on Facebook and refused to remove them.

The court was presided over by Judge Nasser Al-Bader, with Judges Abdulaziz Al-Mudadi and Abdulhadi Al-Hajri as members. Yaqoub Al-Ballam served as court clerk.

According to the case details, the accused decided to kill his friend after becoming angered by the publication of private photographs of his wife on Facebook. He had reportedly demanded that the victim delete the pictures, but the latter refused.

The accused then allegedly planned the murder, armed himself with a knife and waited for the victim to leave a location at his workplace, where he knew the man would be present.

When the victim emerged, the accused attacked him, inflicting several stab wounds that proved fatal.

Following investigations and inquiries, Criminal Investigation Department officers identified and arrested the accused.
