KUWAIT CITY, Feb 2: The first Arab Wheelchair Basketball Championship is ongoing in Kuwait from January 29 to February 5, organized by the Kuwait Wheelchair Basketball Federation, with seven national teams competing.
In the Group A match held at the Kuwait Disabled Sports Club Hall, Kuwait defeated Palestine 67–43, maintaining its lead in the group. Kuwait has 4 points from two wins, scoring 130 points and conceding 71.
Palestine sits second in the group with 3 points from two matches (one win, one loss), scoring 106 points and conceding 103. In the other Group A match, Libya defeated Jordan 53–33, taking third place with 3 points, while Jordan remains last with 2 points after two losses.
In Group B, Egypt cruised past Yemen.
