Kuwait’s Consul General in Erbil meets KRCS official

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 11, (KUNA): Kuwait’s Consul General in Erbil Omar Al- Kandari affirmed on Tuesday Kuwait’s keenness to continue assisting displaced Iraqis and refugees in the Kurdistan region. In a statement to KUNA, after his meeting with Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) Deputy Chairman Anwar Al-Hasawi, Al-Kandari stressed on Kuwait’s continued support for the relocated Iraqis in all Iraqi provinces, especially in the Kurdistan region.

Kuwait’s aid to the displaced Iraqi people, themed “Kuwait is beside you,” is continuing with various forms, he added. Al-Kandari pointed out that the KRCS vast humanitarian program includes food distribution, several health projects, development and education to alleviate the suffering of the displaced Iraqi people. Al-Kandari said pamphlets are issued that list all Kuwaiti aid provided in the Iraqi provinces.
