Kuwait City, Mar 21: The General Environment Authority confirmed that air quality levels across the country remain stable and within safe limits, with the environmental situation fully under control.
Speaking during a media briefing, spokesperson Sheikha Al-Ibrahim said the authority continues round-the-clock monitoring through stations across residential, industrial, and oil facility areas, measuring pollutants every five minutes and analyzing data against approved standards.
She added that air quality updates are published on the authority’s official platform, with immediate alerts issued if pollution levels rise. The authority is also conducting regular monitoring of seawater, beaches, marine life, and drinking water quality to ensure compliance with health and environmental standards.
