KUWAIT CITY, Feb 9: Chairperson of the Women’s Housing Committee at the Public Authority for Housing Welfare (PAHW) Sheikha Bibi Al-Yousef clarified that after investigation and review, it was determined that the grace period for women whose Kuwaiti citizenship was revoked and who are beneficiaries of rented housing extends to five years, not the previously stated two-year period, from the date of citizenship revocation. She indicated that the housing unit should be handed over by the concerned beneficiaries to PAHW by the end of the five-year grace period. She said the specified grace period was established in accordance with a Cabinet decision.
