Kuwait Condemns Storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque Courtyards, Calls It a Violation of International Law

KUWAIT CITY, April 21: Ministry of Foreign Affairs Kuwait has strongly condemned the storming of the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque by several settlers under the protection of Israeli forces, describing the incident as a “flagrant violation” of international laws and norms governing the protection of religious sanctities.

In a statement issued Tuesday, the ministry warned that the continuation of such actions could provoke Muslims worldwide and undermine efforts to maintain security and stability in the region.

Kuwait reiterated its firm stance urging the international community — particularly the United Nations Security Council — to take responsibility in halting what it described as repeated violations and to ensure accountability for those involved.

The ministry also stressed the importance of respecting holy sites, providing full protection for the Palestinian people, and safeguarding their religious sanctities.
