KUWAIT CITY, Jun 28: Kuwait’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday strongly condemned what it described as repeated Iranian aggressions against the State of Kuwait, including the latest incident that occurred at dawn.
In a statement, the ministry said the attacks represented a “flagrant violation” of Kuwait’s sovereignty, posed a direct threat to the country’s security and stability, and endangered the safety of citizens and residents. It also described the actions as a breach of international law and the United Nations Charter.
The ministry said the continuation of such attacks, while regional and international efforts are underway to reduce tensions, undermines diplomatic initiatives aimed at de-escalation and challenges international efforts to restore stability.
Kuwait reaffirmed its right to take all necessary measures to protect its sovereignty, safeguard national security, and ensure the safety of its people and residents on its territory.
