KUWAIT CITY, July 20: Kuwait's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned the continued Iranian attacks against Kuwait, describing the latest incident as a violation of the country's sovereignty, a threat to its security and stability, and a breach of international law, the UN Charter, and Security Council Resolution 2817.
In a statement issued Monday, the ministry said the ongoing aggressions come at a time when regional and international efforts are being made to reduce tensions, warning that such actions undermine de-escalation efforts and threaten regional stability.
Kuwait reaffirmed that its sovereignty, security, and the safety of citizens and residents remain non-negotiable, stressing its legitimate right to take all necessary measures to protect the country.
In a separate statement, the Foreign Ministry also condemned the continued Iranian attacks against Bahrain, expressing full solidarity with the Kingdom and support for all measures taken by Bahrain to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and stability.
