KUWAIT CITY, July 17: Kuwait has strongly condemned the Iranian attacks targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Qatar and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, describing them as a flagrant violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the three countries.

In a statement issued Friday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced what it called the "reprehensible Iranian aggressions," saying the attacks posed a direct threat to the security of the peoples and residents of the affected nations.

The ministry reaffirmed Kuwait's full solidarity with Bahrain, Qatar and Jordan, stressing that the State of Kuwait stands firmly alongside the three sisterly countries during the current crisis.

It also expressed Kuwait's support for all measures taken by the three nations to confront the consequences of the attacks and preserve their security, stability and territorial integrity.

The statement comes amid heightened regional tensions following a series of military attacks across the Gulf and neighboring countries.
