KUWAIT CITY, Jul 12: Kuwait on Sunday strongly condemned what it described as Iranian attacks targeting Bahrain, Oman, Qatar and Jordan, calling them a serious escalation and a violation of international law.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced the attacks as a repeated and blatant escalation that violated the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the four countries, as well as the Charter of the United Nations and UN Security Council Resolution 2817.
Kuwait reaffirmed its full solidarity with Bahrain, Oman, Qatar and Jordan, expressing support for all measures they take to safeguard their security, stability and national sovereignty.
The ministry warned that the continuation of such actions threatens the security and stability of the region and called on Iran to immediately halt the attacks, respect the sovereignty of states and resolve disputes through peaceful means and dialogue.
The statement comes amid heightened regional tensions following a series of missile and drone attacks across the Gulf and continued military exchanges involving Iran and the United States.
