Kuwait Condemns Iranian Aggressions Against Bahrain, Reaffirms Gulf Solidarity

KUWAIT CITY, Jun 6: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned what it described as Iranian aggressions against the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain, denouncing the actions as a serious violation of state sovereignty and a direct threat to Bahrain’s security, stability and the safety of its people.

In an official statement, Kuwait said the attacks reflect a clear disregard for international norms governing relations between states and warned that such actions represent a dangerous escalation at a time when efforts are underway to reduce tensions across the region.

The ministry stated that the aggressions reveal what it described as a hostile approach toward neighboring countries, undermining opportunities for de-escalation and increasing the risk of further instability in the Gulf.

Reaffirming Kuwait’s support for Bahrain, the Foreign Ministry stressed that the security of the Kingdom of Bahrain and all member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) is indivisible.

Kuwait also renewed its full solidarity with Bahrain, emphasizing its support for all measures taken by the kingdom to safeguard its sovereignty, security and national stability.

The statement comes amid heightened regional tensions and growing concerns over the impact of recent developments on Gulf security and regional peace.
