KUWAIT CITY, Jul 31: Kuwait on Friday condemned in the strongest terms what it described as the continued Iranian aggression against the country, after hostile drones targeted a number of vital and military facilities.

In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kuwait said the attacks constituted a “flagrant violation” of its sovereignty, a direct threat to its security and stability, and a serious breach of international law, the United Nations Charter and UN Security Council Resolution 2817.

The ministry warned that the continued attacks represent a dangerous escalation and reflect what it called a systematic hostile approach that cannot be justified or accepted.

Kuwait also reaffirmed its inherent and legitimate right to take all necessary measures to preserve its sovereignty, protect its security and safeguard the safety of citizens and residents across the country.
