KUWAIT CITY, May 18: The State of Kuwait on Monday strongly condemned the drone attack targeting the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, describing it as a “brazen aggression” launched from Iraqi airspace and warning that such acts threaten regional peace and stability.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the drones were successfully intercepted, adding that the attack constituted a continuation of “flagrant violations” of international law and relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions, particularly Resolution 2817.
Kuwait stressed that the incident undermines regional security and stability, while reaffirming its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and support for all measures taken by the Kingdom to safeguard its security, stability, and territorial safety.
