KUWAIT CITY, Oct 18: A substantial crowd of Kuwaiti citizens and expatriates assembled at Al-Erada Square, situated in close proximity to the National Assembly in Kuwait City, on Wednesday evening. They came together in a powerful show of solidarity with the Palestinian people who are enduring brutal attacks from the Israeli occupation forces.

The demonstrators encompassed a diverse group, including Members of Parliament, political leaders, prominent public figures, and representatives from non-profit organizations. They united their voices in chants and held banners emblazoned with messages of unwavering support for Palestine. Their resounding condemnation was directed at the severe atrocities perpetrated by the Israeli occupation’s war machine, acts that flagrantly defy established international laws and norms.

Speakers who addressed the gathering resolutely reaffirmed Kuwait’s enduring commitment to the Palestinian cause and their unwavering support for the Palestinian people’s struggle to reclaim their legitimate rights. Since the onset of the tragic events in the Gaza Strip on October 7, the toll has been devastating, with over 3,478 Palestinians having lost their lives, including nearly 500 individuals tragically perishing in the recent Israeli airstrike on the Baptist Al-Ahli Hospital. Furthermore, more than 12,000 individuals have been left injured as a result of these hostilities.
