KUWAIT CITY, Oct 4: The late Algerian singer Warda was not just an ordinary singer; she was a musical legend who filled the world with her melodious voice. Her voice, which remains and will always be a symbol of love, touched the hearts of her sensitive audience. With her exquisite performances, she accompanied the audience for many years, giving them love and respect. Throughout her artistic journey that spanned over half a century, she presented what was fitting for the Arab audience.

In light of this, the Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Center will host a special concert on Thursday, featuring some of Warda’s most beloved songs performed by talented vocalists such as Marwa Nagy, Ayat Farouk, and the young Kuwaiti singer Khalf Al-Mashouf. They will be accompanied by a musical ensemble led by Maestro Dr. Ala Abdel Salam. The concert is produced by Saud Al-Randi’s production company in collaboration with Smart Samarat Productions, led by Badr Bugaith. They aspire to offer something unique, fresh, and different through their artistic and cultural events, enriching Kuwait and the Gulf region.

She added that her great happiness lies in performing on one of the most prominent stages in the Arab world, the Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Center, under the leadership of her dear brother, Maestro Dr. Ala Abdel Salam.

On her part, the singer Ayat Farouk said, “I am very happy to be present and nominated to sing in a concert named after the giant artist Warda. We will sing her most beautiful works that she presented during her artistic journey. I hope the concert will be well-received by the audience, and we aim to meet their expectations.”
