KUWAIT CITY, Mar 19: Kuwait’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry issued 45 violation reports during extensive inspection campaigns across the Capital and Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate, authorities said Thursday.

In a statement, the ministry said emergency inspection teams in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate recorded 39 violations, primarily related to non-compliance with price regulations and selling goods above approved prices. Three notices were also issued to businesses operating outside the scope of their licensed activities.

Meanwhile, inspection tours in the Capital Governorate targeted several women’s salons, resulting in six violations for issues including discrepancies between invoice prices and cases of commercial fraud.

The ministry confirmed that necessary legal measures are being taken against the violators as part of ongoing efforts to enforce market regulations.
