KUWAIT CITY, March 19: Kuwait’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry carried out extensive inspection campaigns across Hawally and Farwaniya, issuing a total of 24 violation reports against shops for various regulatory breaches.

According to a statement carried by Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the inspections were led in Hawally by Minister of Commerce and Industry Osama Boodai, alongside the Al-Siddiq Emergency Team. The campaign resulted in 12 violations being recorded in the area.

A separate inspection tour conducted by teams in Farwaniya Governorate also led to 12 violations and multiple notices issued to businesses for failing to comply with licensed activities.

The ministry said key violations included عدم compliance with price stabilization rules, refusal to issue invoices, running promotional offers without proper permits, and failing to clearly specify the type and quality of meat used in menus.

Additional infractions involved misleading product specifications in advertisements, عدم displaying the country of origin on goods, and failure to provide visible price lists and service details.
