KUWAIT CITY, Nov 13: The Kuwait College of Science and Technology team won the Warba Bank Volleyball League title in the third Higher Education Sports after beating Kuwait University 26-24, 23-25, 25-27, 27-25, 15-8 in thriller at the Gulf University Hall. Meanwhile,The Kuwait Technical College team secured the third-place position by defeating the Public Authority for Applied Education team with a score of 3-0.
The event was attended by Faisal Al-Maqseed, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait School Sports Federation and Higher Education, Hamad Musaed Al-Sayer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Warba Bank, and Hamed Al-Hazeem, Deputy Director General of the Public Authority for Sports for the Sports Sector, along with officials from various participating universities.
Faisal Al-Maqseed, President of the School Sports and Higher Education Federation, emphasized the federation's commitment to promoting sports activities in the Ministry of Education's schools and universities. The aim is to foster sports awareness and provide students with opportunities to develop their athletic talents, encouraging them to reach professional levels and engage with local and international clubs. Al-Maqseed expressed satisfaction with the technical and physical prowess displayed in the final match, celebrating the Kuwait College of Science and Technology's achievement of the "Warba Bank League" title in the third edition.
