KUWAIT CITY, Jan 4: The State has collected fees amounting to KD 1.27 million for the issuance of all types of driving licenses in the last fiscal year, reports Al-Anba daily quoting official statistics.
According to the statistics, the country’s revenue from the issuance of driving licenses decreased by 31 percent (KD565,000) in fiscal 2021/2022, compared to KD1.83 million in fiscal 2020/2021.
It has been reported that the government estimated revenues of KD2.5 million from issuing driving licenses for the last fiscal year, but it achieved only 50.9 percent of the target -- KD1.27 million.
