KUWAIT CITY, March 28: The under-19 youth team of Kuwait Club won the Federation Cup by defeating Sulaibikhat with a score of 29-23 in the final. Meanwhile, the Al-Qurain youth team clinched third place after a close victory over Kazma, scoring 33-32 in the match determining the third and fourth positions. The thrilling final took place at Al-Ittihad Hall in the Martyr Fahd Al-Ahmad Center, where the winning teams were honored by Handball Federation officials including Secretary Qayed Al-Adwani, Assistant Secretary Abdullah Al-Dhiab, and Treasurer Khaled Talib, along with representatives from participating clubs.

In other handball news, two matches are scheduled today as part of the seventh round of the General Men’s Handball League at the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Complex. Al-Sahel will face Al-Arabi at 8:30 pm, followed by Khaitan versus Burgan at 10 pm. Tomorrow, Saturday, Al-Tadamon will take on the Kuwait Club, and Fahaheel will play against Al-Qadisiya. The round concludes on Sunday with a match between Kazma and Sulaibkhat.

Ahead of the seventh round, Al-Salmiya leads the league standings with 12 points, followed by Kazma with 10 points. Al-Kuwait and Al-Arabi both hold eight points each, while Al-Fahaheel has six points. Sulaibkhat, Al-Qurain, Burgan, Al-Nasr, and Al-Qadisiya each have five points, Yarmouk holds three points, Khaitan has two points, and Al-Sahel and Al-Tadamon are at the bottom of the standings without any points.
