KUWAIT CITY, Oct 22:  The Kuwait Club secured its seventh Local Basketball Super Cup championship by convincingly defeating Al-Qadisiya with a final score of 113-82. This victory underscores Kuwait's historical dominance in this tournament.

Kuwait Club, the reigning champions of both the league and cup titles from the previous season, established a significant advantage during the first half of the game held at the Kuwaiti Federation Hall within the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Indoor Sports Complex.

Right from the start, Kuwait Club players exhibited impressive moves both inside the paint and from beyond the three-point line, concluding the first half with a commanding 16-point lead (60-44).

Kuwait's dominance continued throughout the match, thanks to the outstanding performances of both local and professional players. Their collective effort led to a resounding 31-point victory, marking their first championship win of the 2023-2024 season.

Al-Qadisiyah, last season's Federation Cup runner-up, made efforts to stage a comeback, but Kuwait Club's solid defense and effective offense thwarted their attempts.

Following the match, which served as the official commencement of the federation's local competitions, Dhari Barjas, the federation's president, awarded the championship to both teams in the presence of several federation board members and officials from the two clubs.
