KUWAIT CITY, Dec 28: Kuwait Club looks to extend its unbeaten run in the basketball league when it faces Al-Arabi today at 5:00 PM at Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Complex. Kazma will follow at 7:30 PM against Al-Sulaibikhat.
The league leader, with 16 points from 8 wins, is heavily favored against Al-Arabi, who sits at the bottom with 8 points from 8 losses. The match may also give the coaching staff a chance to rotate younger players ahead of a key West Asia Super League clash against Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ula next week.
In the evening matchup, second-placed Kazma (14 points) meets fifth-placed Al-Sulaibikhat (12 points). Al-Sulaibikhat will aim to keep its playoff hopes alive, while Kazma seeks to maintain its upward momentum.
The league features a three-section format, with the top four teams advancing to a best-of-three semifinal playoff.
