Kuwait Club player dunks against Shahrdari.

DOHA, May 29: The Kuwait Club basketball team secured a crucial 85-76 victory over Iran's Shahrdari as part of the second group matches of the Asian League for West and Central Asia, the "Super League," at the Lusail Arena in Doha, Qatar.

With this victory, Kuwait Club qualifies for the semi-finals as the top team in the group, with the Iranian team taking second place. The team now awaits the winner of the first group, which includes Lebanese clubs Al-Riyadi and Al-Hikma, Bahraini club Manama, and Kazakhstan's Astana. The semi-finals are scheduled for Friday.

Kazma, Kuwait's second representative in the Asian Championship defeated India’s Tamil Tandu 102-96. This win placed Kazma third, while Tamil Tandu finished fourth, leading both teams to exit the first round.
