KUWAIT CITY, Oct 29: Kuwait Club bounced back with a 113–108 victory over Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ula in a thrilling match held at the Basketball Federation Hall in Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Sports Complex. The game was part of Round 2 in Group B of the West Asia Super League (WASL) Gulf Zone.

The win allowed the Kuwait Club to recover from its opening-round loss to Qatar’s Al-Arabi and move to the top of the group with 3 points, edging Al-Ula on point difference. Al-Arabi follows with 2 points, while UAE’s Sharjah sits at the bottom with one point. Al-Arabi will face Sharjah next Tuesday in another key group clash.

Kuwait Club will next play Sharjah at home on November 18. In the first round, Kuwait narrowly lost to Al-Arabi 78–83, while Al-Ula secured a 108–74 win over Sharjah.

Meanwhile, two domestic league games are scheduled at the Federation Hall: Kazma will take on Sulaibikhat at 5:00 p.m., followed by Nasr facing Sahel at 7:00 p.m.

In the opening round of the league, Kazma defeated Al-Arabi 98–56, Sulaibikhat edged Qurain 89–86, Qadsia dominated Nasr 114–57, and Kuwait Club crushed Sahel 106–39.
