Kuwait Club player is challenged as he makes a goal attempt.

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 29: This afternoon, the Kuwait Club's first-handball team are gearing up for a training camp in the Bahraini capital, Manama. The camp is scheduled to last until November 5, after which the team will journey to Dammam, Saudi Arabia, to partake in the 2023 Super Globe Club World Cup.

The delegation, led by Sameh Al-Hajri, the game director for the White Castle, consists of key personnel including Technical Director Haitham Al-Rashidi, Brazilian assistant Thiago Oliveira, Brazilian physical trainer Luis, goalkeeping coach Ali Al-Khader and Dr. Yassine Booker. The squad of 20 players, which includes Portuguese professionals Angel Hernandez, Tunisian Khaled Belhaj and Brazilian Vinicius, will be joined by Qatari professional Frankis Marzo in Bahrain. Marzo recently concluded his stint with Qatari club Al-Anabi in the Asian qualifiers for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Kuwait's star player, Saif Al-Adwani, has also joined the team's training, while the medical staff is diligently working on rehabilitating other injured players ahead of the tournament. This includes Abdullah Al-Gharabally and Fawaz Al-Shammari, although Muhammad Amer will remain absent until January.

It's worth noting that the "Super Globe" tournament has placed Kuwait in the second group, alongside Argentinian clubs San Fernando and German club FOX Berlin.

Meanwhile, the Japanese handball team secured their place in the 2024 Paris Olympics by defeating the Bahraini with a score of 32-29 in the final match of the Asian qualifiers held at the Qatari Al-Duhail Hall. This thrilling victory ensured their Olympic qualification after intense competition.
