KUWAIT CITY, Feb 16: Kuwait Club delivered a commanding 120-84 victory over Qadsia in a postponed second-division league match at the Federation Hall of the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Sports Complex.
The win allowed Kuwait Club to maintain its lead at the top of the standings with 26 points, while Qadsia remains close behind in second place with 25 points.
Kazma also impressed, overwhelming Al-Arabi 115-59. The victory lifted Kazma to 24 points in third place, while Al-Arabi sits seventh with 17 points.
In the clash between defending champions Kuwait Club and Qadsia, Serbian coach Goran Stojkov set the tone early. Kuwait Club opened the game with an 11-point lead by the end of the first quarter (33-22) and outscored Qadsia 28-20 in the second quarter.
By the third quarter, Kuwait Club had stretched the lead to 29 points (90-61) and controlled the fourth quarter as well, scoring 30 points to seal a decisive victory.
