KUWAIT CITY, Oct 27: Kuwait Club has once again asserted its domestic handball supremacy, clinching the 2025-2026 Premier League title with a resounding 38-28 win over Al-Arabi in the penultimate round.
The victory secured the White Brigade’s 14th consecutive league crown and 16th overall, setting a remarkable record and extending its unprecedented run of success in the competition.
Elsewhere in the round, Sulaibikhat defeated Nasr 22-12, while Kazma narrowly overcame Burgan 32-30 in a closely fought contest.
Kuwait Club sits firmly atop the standings with 25 points, having wrapped up the championship ahead of the final round. Burgan sits second on 19 points, followed by Kazma on 18, Al-Arabi on 16, Sulaibikhat on 10, and Nasr on two.
The latest title reinforces the White Brigade’s long-standing dominance of Kuwaiti handball, reflecting the club’s sustained commitment to the team and the support it receives from the board.
Its success has also reached beyond Kuwait, with the club establishing itself as a major force in Gulf, Arab and Asian handball through strong performances and numerous titles in regional and continental competitions.
Kuwait Club competed in the latest Asian Club League Handball Championship in June and has already secured qualification for the next edition. Burgan, the reigning Asian champions, will join them as the two clubs continue to carry Kuwait’s flag in continental competition.
