KUWAIT CITY, Nov 4: Kuwait Club is just one win away from securing last season’s General Basketball League title for the eighth consecutive year and the 16th time in its history when it faces Qurain at 7:30 pm today in the second game of the best-of-three final series.

The match will take place at the Kuwait Basketball Association Hall in the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Sports Complex. Earlier, Kazma meets Qadsia at 5:15 pm in the second game of their series to determine third and fourth place.

The Whites strengthened their grip on the title with a dominant 110-83 victory over Qurain in the opening game. Kazma also made a strong start in the third-place playoff, thrashing Qadsia 118-69.

Kuwait Club will be eager to repeat that performance, seal the series in straight games, and extend its remarkable run to eight successive league titles.

Qurain, however, will be determined to bounce back, address the shortcomings exposed in the opening encounter, and force a decisive third game to keep their championship hopes alive.
