Khaled Al-Ghanem celebrates with Al-Rashidi and Al-Hajri.

KUWAIT CITY, June 3: The Kuwait Club has officially claimed victory in the 57th edition of the Premier Handball League for the 2023-2024 season, three rounds before its conclusion. This achievement marks its 14th title in history and an impressive 12th consecutive win. "Al-Abyad" sealed the triumph by defeating Al-Arabi 33-25 in the seventh week of the Premier League, held at the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Complex. Additionally, Al-Qadisiya edged Kazma 30-28 in a close match,, while Burgan secured a  34-32 victory over Al-Salmiya.

Sameh Al-Hajri, the director of handball at the Kuwait Club, extended his congratulations to the club's president, Khaled Al-Ghanem, the board of directors, the technical staff led by Haitham Al-Rashidi, the administrator, the champion players, and the fans of "Al-Abyad" for their remarkable achievement. He emphasized the difficulty of maintaining the top spot but expressed confidence in the club's ability to uphold its leadership.

Al-Hajri praised the players for their consistent performance, citing their success in local and international competitions throughout the season. Looking ahead, he mentioned upcoming events including the Arab Club Championship, the Federation Cup, and the Asian Club Championship, expressing optimism for further triumphs and aspirations to qualify for the Super Globe Club World Cup.
