Kuwait Club Chairman Khaled Al-Ghanim described the 14th successive league triumph as an unprecedented milestone in Kuwaiti handball, praising the contributions of the club’s current and former administrations and everyone involved in the achievement.
He highlighted the team’s domestic and continental successes, stressing that the club was determined to maintain its winning tradition and add more trophies to its collection.
“Our plans for next season are focused on winning championships, finishing first, and representing Kuwait in the best possible way in international competitions,” Al-Ghanim said.
He also thanked the club’s supporters for their unwavering backing, while praising the board, players, and technical and administrative staff for their roles in securing the historic title.
Burgan Chairman Anwar Al-Otaibi, meanwhile, described his team’s campaign as positive, pointing out that their second-place finish secured qualification for the upcoming Asian Club Championship.
Al-Otaibi said Burgan would seek to challenge for both the league and cup titles next season through further squad development and new signings. He also stressed the club’s ambition to defend its continental crown.
He praised the Kuwait Handball Association for its efforts to build a competitive domestic league, saying this would help raise players’ standards and strengthen the national team ahead of the World Handball Championship in Germany early next year.
