MOSCOW, Oct 30: Kuwait’s national Kyokushin Karate team finished in third place across all categories at the Kazakhstan-hosted Eurasia championship, its delegation chief said on Sunday. Dhari Al-Enezi was perhaps his country’s best performer as he powered his way to a gold medal in the open weight division, while his younger compatriot Zaid Al-Sulaiteen enjoyed similar success in the 10-year old category, Kuwaiti delegation head Hassan Al-Kandari told KUNA over the phone. Some 26 Kuwaiti Kyokushin Karate fighters from varying age groups were part of the national team in a competition that also featured sides from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Syria, he added.
