KUWAIT CITY, Jun 28: The Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) has cancelled the registered residential addresses of 464 people from its records, urging those affected to update their information within 30 days to avoid penalties.
The decision was published in the official gazette “Kuwait Alyoum” on Sunday. PACI said the address cancellations were made based on declarations submitted by property owners or due to the demolition of buildings linked to the registered addresses.
The authority called on individuals affected by the decision to visit PACI offices to register their new addresses or update their information through the “Sahel” application, after completing the required documentation.
PACI stressed that address updates must be completed within 30 days from the date of publication of the decision.
Those who fail to update their residential information within the specified period could face penalties under Article 33 of Law No. 32 of 1982, including a fine of up to 100 Kuwaiti dinars, which may be multiplied based on the number of individuals involved.
