KUWAIT CITY, July 4: Kuwaiti Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology and Acting Minister of Information and Culture Omar Al-Omar and Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam to Kuwait Haji Sulaini bin Haji Said discussed means to promote cooperation in digital transformation, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. During the meeting on Thursday, both sides underlined the significance of expanding the exchange of expertise and experiences to contribute to the development of the digital ecosystem and capitalize on state-of-the-art technology, said the Ministry of Communications in a press release. The minister stressed the ministry’s readiness to provide technical and institutional support to bolster joint cooperation, welcoming Brunei’s participation in technology and innovation initiatives, including the “Sahel” program, to foster the exchange of experiences regarding digital government services.(KUNA)
