Kuwait Braces for Thunderstorms, Hail Amid Rainfall

KUWAIT CITY, Mar 19: The Meteorological Department issued a “weather warning” indicating that the country will experience intermittent rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms, occasionally heavy, in certain areas. Hailstones and strong winds exceeding 60 kilometers per hour are expected, leading to dusty conditions, reduced visibility, and high sea waves. The warning is effective for 15 hours, commencing from nine o’clock this morning until midnight.

In light of the volatile weather conditions, the General Fire Service Department urged both citizens and residents to exercise caution. They emphasized the importance of contacting the fire department immediately through the emergency number 112 in case any assistance is required.
