Kuwait Boxing Federation to hold course for new coaches

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 19: The Kuwait Boxing Federation will organize a training and qualification course for new boxing coaches from August 30 to September 10 at the Abdullah Al-Salem Leaders Preparation Center in Khaldiya.

The course, led by Abdulrahman Abdullah Bashir, is designed to strengthen coaches' technical skills and develop qualified personnel who can contribute to the continued growth of boxing in Kuwait.

Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, a federation board member and chairman of the Technical Committee, said such programs play an important role in improving the standard of local coaches, which would ultimately benefit Kuwait's performances in international competitions and help athletes achieve better results.

He said the federation was keen to hold the course ahead of the new season as part of its efforts to raise the standard of both coaches and athletes and ensure stronger performances in upcoming competitions.

Al-Mutairi urged coaches to take full advantage of the program by actively attending the lectures and practical sessions. He also thanked the Public Authority for Youth and Sports and the Leaders Preparation Center for their continued cooperation and support in providing specialized training programs for boxing coaches.
