Kuwait bourse benchmark rebounds gaining 11.7 points

KUWAIT, April 22 : Boursa Kuwait, which opened trades bearishly on Wednesday, saw the benchmark, the All Share Market Index, putting on 11.7 points upon closing after losing 12.7 points in the early operations.
The session closed as regularly at midday, with the benchmark gaining 11.7 points, settling at 4,717.9 points.

Meanwhile, traded stocks amounted to 138.7 million, done in 6,417 spot deals, valued at KD 27.9 million (approximately USD 94.8 million).
However, Main Market Index fell by 2.7 points to settle at 4,017.3, through stock volume of 78.3 million shares, done in 2,055 spot deals, valued at KD 2.4 million (USD 8.16 million).


Like the main index, Premier Market Index posted gains, rising by 18.9 points to the level of 5,074.3, through stock volume of 72.5 million shares, done in 1,818 spot transactions and valued at KD 2.2 million (USD 7.4 million).(KUNA) —
