Kuwait bids farewell to martyr Sergeant Al-Hajri

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 21: Kuwait on Wednesday bid farewell to the martyr of duty, Sergeant Mohammad Saad Al-Hajri, who succumbed to injuries sustained in the fire that broke out in the General Directorate of Correctional Institutions building last week. Al-Hajri passed away two days after the death of his colleague, Colonel Saud Nassar Al-Khamsan (May God have mercy on them both).

The fire injured six people and the two martyrs later succumbed to their injuries. A large number of mourners, led by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Major General Abdulwahab Al-Wuhaib, and senior security and military officials, attended the solemn military funeral at Sulaibikhat Cemetery.

The Ministry of Interior, represented by Sheikh Fahad Al- Yousef, Al-Wahib and all its employees, mourns with deep sadness the passing of Al-Hajri. They pray to God Almighty to have mercy on him, grant him Paradise, and inspire his family and relatives with patience and solace
