KUWAIT CITY, Nov 25: Kuwait’s senior basketball team secured an 84-71 victory over Thailand in a friendly match held at the Basketball Federation Hall in the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Sports Complex.
The match is part of the Kuwait Basketball Federation’s preparation plan ahead of upcoming competitions, allowing the coaching staff to evaluate all players. The two teams will meet again today for a second friendly, following the agreement between the Kuwaiti and Thai federations.
The Blues dominated from start to finish, with Serbian coach Marko Ichelich rotating his squad to give significant playing time to key players such as Yousef Naseeb, Faisal Al-Bahar, Ahmed Al-Foudari, Faisal Al-Husseini, Abdul Latif Al-Faraj, as well as young talent Abdulaziz Al-Mutawa. The approach helped assess technical readiness and strengthen team cohesion.
