Kuwait Banking Association confirms next Sunday closure for Isra and Mi’raj.

KUWAIT CITY, Apr 16: The Kuwait Banking Association announced on Thursday that banks across the country have resumed operations at 100 percent capacity. In a statement posted on X, the Union of Banks commended banking staff for their professionalism, noting they had demonstrated resilience under all circumstances while maintaining customer trust.

The move comes amid a period of relative stability in Kuwait, following a ceasefire between the United States and Iran and ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at securing a lasting agreement to end the conflict.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Interior affirmed that the country’s airspace remains secure and free from threats, attributing this to calculated security deployment, heightened defensive readiness, and continuous vigilance.

Authorities added that military and security agencies are closely monitoring regional developments through coordinated efforts and sustained readiness, underscoring a high level of operational efficiency and preparedness across state institutions.
