KUWAIT CITY, Oct 25: The Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) revealed that its electronic linkage system with the platform of the Central Bank of Kuwait for verification of salary payments consists of eight steps. According to PAM, this process begins with the employer submitting a request for salary disbursement and concludes with the electronic transmission of the payment results back to the authority. In a recent report, PAM enumerated the following stages in using the system: submission of salary disbursement request, processing of the request through the Central Bank, receipt of salary data by the employer’s bank, verification and cross-referencing of the data against registered employees, validation of the data, execution of the payment, generation of results, and electronic transmission of these results to PAM. It added that this electronic integration aims to strengthen oversight of salary payments, ease the pre-verification of disbursement transactions, eliminate manual processes between banks, align regulatory controls with payment outcomes, and accurately identify the employees entitled to salary payment.
