Kuwait Authorities Seize Vehicle Carrying 249kg of Adulterated Meat

KUWAIT, Sept 26: The General Authority for Food and Nutrition, in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, seized a vehicle used to transport and distribute meat of unknown origin that failed to meet health and technical standards.

Authorities said the seized meat and other food products were found to be adulterated and unfit for distribution. A total of 249 kilograms of meat and food products were destroyed.

Legal action has been taken against the violator, as authorities continue inspections aimed at protecting consumer health and food safety.
