Kuwait authorities seize rotten seafood in Doha Industrial Area

KUWAIT CITY, Apr 23: Kuwait’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry Kuwait said it carried out a joint inspection campaign with the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition Kuwait and the Ministry of Interior Kuwait in the Doha Industrial Area, leading to the seizure of a factory storing and promoting prohibited food items.

Officials said the raid uncovered spoiled fish and frozen shrimp being kept in violation of health and safety regulations. Authorities confirmed that legal measures have been taken against those responsible.

The campaign is part of ongoing efforts to ensure food safety standards and protect public health across the country.
