Kuwait authorities seize 390 used tires from an illegal warehouse in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 9: Kuwait authorities have seized 390 used car tires from a warehouse in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh that was allegedly storing, cleaning, refurbishing and reconditioning old tires for resale to consumers.

The Commercial Control and Consumer Protection Department, represented by the Capital Governorate inspection team, conducted the operation following surveillance and coordination with the Ministry of Interior’s Farwaniya Governorate Criminal Investigations Department.

Authorities also discovered specialized equipment used to polish and renew the tires. A violation report was issued against the warehouse, and legal procedures are being taken against those responsible in coordination with the relevant authorities.
