KUWAIT CITY, Aug 6: Authorities in Kuwait have raided a warehouse and seized 1,430 used tires that were being cleaned, refurbished, and repackaged for resale to consumers.
The raid was carried out following monitoring and surveillance operations by the Capital Governorate Inspection Control Unit in coordination with the Ministry of Interior’s Farwaniya Governorate Criminal Investigation Department.
During the inspection, authorities found equipment used for polishing and refurbishing tires. Investigations revealed that those responsible for the warehouse were storing used tires, restoring their appearance, and preparing them for display and sale in the market.
A violation report was issued against the warehouse, and the seized items were documented. Legal procedures are being taken against those involved in coordination between the relevant authorities from both ministries.
