KUWAIT CITY, May 15: The Public Authority for Industry conducted a joint inspection campaign on Friday morning in the scrap yard area south of Amghara, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen oversight of plots under its supervision and curb regulatory violations.
The operation was carried out in coordination with the Ministry of Interior, with support from the Kuwait Fire Force and the Public Authority for Manpower, targeting sites suspected of encroachments on state property and non-compliance with approved regulations.
Officials said the campaign aimed to identify violations, ensure proper use of allocated industrial plots, and verify adherence to established operational requirements.
During the inspection drive, authorities detected several infractions within the area. Legal measures were taken against violators, and several undocumented workers were apprehended and processed in line with Ministry of Interior procedures.
The Public Authority for Industry said the campaign is part of a broader strategy to reinforce regulatory compliance, protect state property, and eliminate unauthorized activities in industrial zones.
Authorities added that inspection campaigns will continue in coordination with relevant government bodies to ensure strict enforcement of laws and regulations across all monitored sites.
