Kuwait Authorities Intensify Inspections of Cooperative Societies

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 25: The General Authority for Food and Nutrition, in coordination with the Ministry of Social Affairs, conducted a joint inspection campaign at a cooperative society as part of ongoing efforts to ensure compliance with health and food safety regulations.

Dr. Saud Al-Jalal, Director General of Inspection and Control Affairs at the Authority, said inspectors checked cleanliness, compliance with health requirements and food storage practices during the tour. Several observations were recorded, with officials instructing the cooperative society to address the violations and comply with the required standards.

Al-Jalal said joint inspection campaigns will continue across cooperative societies in various governorates to ensure full compliance with health regulations and safeguard consumer health and safety.
