MANAMA, Jan 17 (KUNA): Racers from the Kuwaiti Club for Automobiles and Motorcycles delivered a dominant performance by topping three categories at the 2025–2026 Bahrain Drag Racing Championship.
Speaking to KUNA on Saturday, the club’s team manager, Sheikh Sabah Dawood Al-Sabah, said the team achieved outstanding results at the event, which was held at the Bahrain International Circuit on Friday evening.
Sheikh Sabah Dawood explained that Kuwaiti racers secured first place in several categories, with Salah Al-Heidar winning the 4.8 Index, Shehab Bourba claiming the 8.5 category, and Ahmad Zaman finishing first in the 8.5 Index.
He added that the team also collected two second-place finishes, earned by Ahmad Heider in the 9.0 Index and Abdullah Al-Azmi in the 10.0 Index.
Completing the strong showing, Talal Al-Manea, Mohammad Zaman, and Abdulrahman Buelwa took third place in the 9.0, 8,8 and 4.8 Index categories, respectively, underscoring the club’s overall dominance in the championship.
